Liz Searcy is a strategic résumé writer, dynamic career and interview coach, and insightful recruiter. With this trio of career skills combined with sales, operations, and management experience, her career spans over 30 years of professional experience in the Greater Houston area. In 2009, she merged two career paths together to launch Celebration Career & Business Support to assist job seekers and employers communicate their value to select audiences. Clients live all around the U.S., Canada, and some overseas.
Her career embodies 25+ years in the staffing industry alone. In addition, as a professional copywriter and published magazine writer, Liz is thrilled to use all her writing and marketing expertise to craft modern résumés and cover letters for every job seeker. An active member of a local Christian fellowship, Liz created and facilitates an employment ministry there for church members affected by job loss. In addition, she was a member and officer of a local club of Toastmasters International for seven years where she honed her leadership and speaking skills. Throughout her career, she has given workshops at community colleges, universities, and served as a commencement speaker at trade school graduations.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Liz cherishes her family. In addition to her love of writing, her hobbies include singing, cooking, fishing, enjoying nature, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She longs to embrace the breathtaking Oregon coast again—soon!
